Sweet & Simple: Our Refund & Cancellation Policy
We want you to love your treats as much as we loved baking them! Because we are a small, home-based kitchen (and not a big box store), we handle orders a little differently. Here is what you need to know.
Cancellations (Life Happens!) Since we take full payment upfront to book your date, here is how we handle refunds if plans change:
7+ Days Notice: If you cancel at least one week before your pickup date, we will issue a full refund.
Less than 1 Week Notice: If you cancel with less than 7 days' notice, we can offer a 50% refund. (By this point, we have likely turned down other orders and purchased specific ingredients just for you!)
Less than 48 Hours: Unfortunately, no refunds can be given for cancellations within 48 hours of pickup, as your goodies are likely already in the oven.
The "Taste Test" (Quality Assurance)
Flavor/Texture: We bake with high-quality ingredients and tested recipes. We do not offer refunds if you simply don't care for a specific flavor (e.g., you ordered lemon but realized you wanted chocolate). Taste is subjective!
Our Mistake: If we made a clear error (like the wrong flavor or filling), please let us know immediately so we can make it right.
The Golden Rule: To qualify for a refund or credit due to a quality issue, the item must be returned to us (at least 75% intact) within 24 hours so we can assess what went wrong. We cannot refund a cake that has been fully eaten!
Pickup & Transport Once you pick up your order, it is officially yours! Please check your order before you leave. We are not responsible for damage that happens during transport (potholes happen!) or due to Texas heat exposure after pickup.
